Sources of financing of state support for families of martyrs expanded

Changes have been made to the “Procedure for perpetuating the name of a martyr and applying benefits to martyr families”, approved by a Cabinet of Ministers resolution of 1994, Trend news agency reports. Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a relevant resolution.

According to the change, funds spent on martyrs and families of martyrs are paid from the state budget of Azerbaijan, from assistance funds created at the expense of individuals, various organizations, departments and enterprises, including donations from foreign organizations and other sources, as well as from means of state compulsory personal insurance.
