Over the past three years, more than 40 criminal legal measures have been taken against legal entities

In 2020, criminal law measures were taken against 2 legal entities, in 2021 – 12, and in 2022 – 27, Report news agency reports, citing the Deputy Prosecutor General – Head of the Main Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General Nazima Rajabova. Speaking at an event on the topic “Anti-Corruption Management System”, he noted that the Main Directorate began to apply more often criminal law measures against legal entities. Therefore, the large-scale application of the standards of the anti-corruption management system in relation to legal entities prevents possible offenses in a timely manner. This indicates that these standards are a set of procedures aimed at detecting and preventing corruption.
