Ministry of Internal Affairs: 24.5 kg of drugs seized from illegal circulation

Over the past two days, 24.5 kg of drugs have been seized from illicit trafficking in Azerbaijan, Report news agency reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

As a result of operational activities carried out by police officers on March 18 and 19 on the territory of the republic, more than 24.5 kg of narcotic drugs were found and seized, including 6 kg of heroin, about 8.5 kg of marijuana, more than 3.9 kg of hashish, more 4 kg of opium, more than 2.1 kg of methamphetamine, 288 narcotic tablets.
