An attempt to bypass customs jewelry and branded clothing prevented

An attempt to smuggle branded clothing bypassing customs has been prevented, Trend news agency reports citing the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

So, on the basis of information received by the operational-investigative department of the Main Customs Directorate for Air Transport, the hand luggage of an Azerbaijani citizen who arrived by Istanbul-Baku flight was subjected to customs inspection when trying to leave the customs control zone from the CIP hall of Heydar Aliyev International Airport .

During the check, branded clothing of various brands, 1 Cartier brand watch, 175 grams of jewelry and other goods, undeclared in oral, written or electronic form, were found in hand luggage.
