A suspect in the theft of $10,000 and gold jewelry was detained in Sabirabad district, Report news agency reported citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, police officers stopped a Toyota car for inspection, in which Mirkamil Semidov, who was wanted under article 177 (theft) of the Criminal Code, was located. The detainee was transferred to the Sabirabad district police department.

He is accused of stealing AZN 100, AZN 10,750 and jewelry worth AZN 12,050 from a residential building in the district on February 20 this year.
