Suspect detained for stealing 20,000 manats from bank accounts

About 20,000 manats were stolen from the bank accounts of two citizens in Baku, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry.

On March 28 and 30, 2023, the police received information about the theft of AZN 9,845 from the bank account of one citizen and AZN 9,900 from another.

As a result of operational-search activities carried out by employees of the 24th station of the Nizami District Police Department, a resident of the Imishli district, previously convicted Anar Guliyev, was detained on suspicion of committing a crime.

The matter is under investigation.
