Online scammers deceiving citizens of Azerbaijan

Fraudsters have appeared who steal money from the bank accounts of Azerbaijani citizens, oxu.az reports.

So, when citizens put up goods for online sale, they receive calls from foreign numbers under the guise of customers. Then, usually, the scammer asks for the citizen’s bank card details and asks for the code sent to his phone.

Interestingly, scammers are most often interested in the cards of two large banks in our country. This is because it is easier for scammers to steal money from these bank accounts.
