Minister of Internal Affairs: Over the past 20 years, about 24 thousand criminal groups and gangs have been neutralized

The number of criminal groups and gangs neutralized in Azerbaijan over the past 20 years has been made public. According to APA, Interior Minister Vilayat Eyvazov said at the solemn ceremony dedicated to Police Day and graduation of the 2022-2023 academic year at the Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that over the past 20 years, consistent work has been carried out to prevent, detect and investigate crimes, in in the field of protecting the legitimate interests of citizens, including about 24 thousand criminal groups and gangs were neutralized and 87 percent of crimes were solved.
