14 people detained for buying and selling drugs

In recent days, employees of the 10th branch of the Garadagh district police department have conducted urgent operations against persons who organized drug trafficking in the village of Lokbatan, oxu.az reports citing the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the events, 14 people suspected of purchasing, storing, transporting, shipping or selling narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances were detained. They were found to have about 3 kg of heroin, marijuana, opium and methamphetamine.

Each of the detainees is under investigation in the investigation department of the Garadagh district police department. Law enforcement agencies continue to take measures to combat drug trafficking.
