Statement of the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan

The Administration of the President of Azerbaijan issued a statement following the results of a meeting organized at the invitation of the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan with representatives of the Armenian residents of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, haqqin.az reports.

Responsible for contacts with Armenian residents living in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, Ramin Mammadov met with representatives of the Armenian population of Karabakh Sergey Martirosyan and David Melkumyan. The head of the Russian side of the joint Russian-Turkish Monitoring Center, Rear Admiral Oleg Semenov, was present at the meeting as a participant.

At the meeting, which took place in a constructive and positive atmosphere, issues of reintegration of the Armenian population of Karabakh, restoration of infrastructure and organization of activities based on the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan were discussed.

Ramin Mammadov presented plans for reintegration. The importance of the speedy implementation of the issues reflected in the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan dated September 20 on the cessation of anti-terrorist measures was also emphasized.

In the context of discussing issues of a social and humanitarian nature, representatives of the Armenian residents of the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan reported that there is a special need for fuel. At the same time, they asked for humanitarian aid in the form of food.

At the end of the meeting, their request was received positively. In particular, it is planned to soon provide fuel supplies to provide heating systems for kindergartens and schools, as well as emergency medical services and fire services, and provide humanitarian support.

An agreement was reached to hold another meeting soon.
