State service: Armenia is preventing the sustainable reintegration of Armenian residents into Azerbaijani society

The State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan launched the portal reintegration.gov.az in order to ensure sustainable reintegration into the Azerbaijani society of the Armenian residents of the Karabakh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Conditions have been created for the use of the portal by Armenian residents living in the Karabakh region, as well as traveling to the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

As reported to AZERTAC by the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a number of providers in the Republic of Armenia have blocked some domain names belonging to government agencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan in order to prevent the entry of people from the territory of Armenia.

Based on the results of observations conducted by the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security, it turned out that the launched new domain name reintegration.gov.az was also blocked by providers operating in the Republic of Armenia for a similar purpose.

In order to ensure access to the portal for people from the territory of Armenia, the real IP address of the reintegration.gov.az domain was hidden by specialists of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security and protected from blocking. Access to the website reintegration.gov.az for people from the territory of Armenia has been restored.

In recent days, including from the first day of commissioning on the reintegration.gov.az portal, DDOS and other cyber attacks have been actively observed on websites owned by government agencies.

As a result of the preventive measures taken, reliable protection and uninterrupted operation of all information resources connected to the AzStateNet network are ensured.
