The President gave instructions to combat unfair competition

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has given instructions to combat unfair competition. As oxu.az reports, this was stated by Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov during today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship on the topic of the bill “On the approval of the Competition Code.”

The minister emphasized that healthy competition is one of the main factors ensuring the economic development of the country.

“Not only entrepreneurs and the state, but also consumers and ordinary citizens benefit from fair competition, lower prices and expanded assortments. Artificial barriers only serve the interests of a group of entrepreneurs,” he said.

M. Jabbarov emphasized that healthy competition is when equal conditions are created for everyone.
