Over the past 5 years, 1 million people have received employment services in Azerbaijan

Over the past 5 years, 1 million people in Azerbaijan have received employment services. As Trend reports, this was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan Sahil Babayev during his speech at the presentation ceremony of the Karabakh SME project.

The minister noted that one of the main lines of Azerbaijan’s policy is the implementation of the “Great Return” program and to date about 2,900 citizens have been resettled in Karabakh.

“One of our main goals is to provide employment for citizens resettled in Karabakh. 70 percent of them are already provided with it. We will continue to strengthen this process. Without employment, stable well-being is impossible. Employment programs must be addressed to the general population. Over the past 5 years, 1 million people have received employment services,” the minister noted.

S. Babayev emphasized that more than 380 thousand services were provided to the families of 124 thousand war participants, veterans, and martyrs.
