A criminal case has been initiated against the school director

The district prosecutor’s office conducted an investigation based on a complaint received in connection with the illegal actions of the director of the secondary school named after A. Javadov of the village of Jamilli, Khojaly district, Malakhat Ismayilova, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan.

During the investigation, grounds were identified for suspicion of theft of state property on a large scale in the specified educational institution in 2019-2023.

Based on this fact, the district prosecutor’s office has opened a criminal case under Articles 179.2.3, 179.2.4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Misappropriation or embezzlement by a person using his official position, causing significant damage), and a preliminary investigation is underway.
