Court decision against gang members involved in online drug sales
The Supreme Court has completed its consideration of the cassation appeal against the verdict against Farid Rahimov, Khatai Alizade and Tarlan Akhadov, accused of purchasing and selling large quantities of narcotic drugs, oxu.az reports. At the trial, chaired by Judge Shahin Yusifov, a decision was announced according to which the complaint was not satisfied.
The indicated persons were detained by employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They were found guilty of online sales of drugs brought to Azerbaijan from Iran. In total, about 10 kg of drugs were seized from the detainees. A Falcon sport pistol and seven rounds of ammunition were also confiscated from Tarlan Akhadov.
The Baku Grave Crimes Court sentenced Farid Rahimov and Khatai Alizade to 13 years in prison, and Tarlan Akhadov to 14 years in prison.
