A total of 11 billion manats were spent on the restoration of liberated territories in Azerbaijan

At this stage, which went down in the history of our country as a period of comprehensive progress, thanks to the determination of President Ilham Aliyev, the foundations of Azerbaijan’s statehood were further strengthened. As APA reports, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov stated this at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis during the discussion of the bill “On the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2024.”
The minister noted that at this stage the oil and gas resources of our country are being effectively used: “Azerbaijan has been actively continuing construction work in the liberated territories for 3 years. In addition to the funds allocated from the state budget for 3 years, additional income is also allocated for construction work. To date, 11 billion manats have been spent on the restoration of the liberated territories; it is expected that by the end of this year these funds will reach 12 billion manats. The reintegration of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur into the country’s economy will be a top priority in the coming years.”
