Counterfeiting gang members detained

A resident of the capital’s village of Bina contacted the 3rd department of the Khazar district police department and reported that on November 10, in a store located in the village, an unknown person paid with 21 counterfeit $100 bills during a purchase, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Thus, as a result of operational activities carried out by employees of the department, Gulnara Eynullayeva (born 1981), Samir Fatullayev (born 1990) and Ali Hamidov (born 1999) suspected of committing a crime and previously convicted were detained.

During the search, 14 counterfeit hundred dollar bills were seized from S. Fatullayev. An investigation and operational search activities are being carried out into this fact.
