Terrorist arrested in Azerbaijan

The Sabail District Court of Baku considered a petition filed by an investigator of the State Security Service against M.Kh. Huseyinzadeh, oxu.az reports. By decision of the court, a preventive measure was chosen against him in the form of arrest for a period of 4 months.

It is known from the case materials that as a result of operational activities carried out by State Security Service officers, during an attempt of armed intrusion into the administrative building of a diplomatic mission of a foreign state in Baku with the aim of committing a terrorist act in November 2023, M.H. Huseyinzade, who had been conducting hidden crimes for a long time, was detained observations.

Charges have been brought against him under Articles 28, 214.2.3 and 28, 214.2.6 (preparation for a terrorist act with the use of firearms and objects used as weapons, on the basis of religious hatred, radicalism or fanaticism) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
