Woman suspected of grand theft detained

A woman suspected of stealing $6,000 in cash and gold jewelry worth 40,000 manats was detained in the city of Ganja, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

According to the information, as a result of operational search activities carried out by employees of the 2nd police department of the Ganja Main Police Department, a resident of the city was detained, suspected of illegally entering a private residential building belonging to a city resident and stealing from there $6,000 in cash and jewelry. for a total amount of 40,000 manats.

The suspect, handed over to the investigation along with the material evidence, admitted to her crime in her testimony.

An investigation into this fact is underway in the investigation department of the Ganja State Unitary Enterprise.
