Living wage and need criterion for 2024 approved in Azerbaijan

At today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis (parliament), the living wage and the criterion of need for 2024 were discussed in the second reading. As Trend reports, the cost of living for 2024 in the country is set at 270 manats, for the working population – 287 manats, pensioners – 222 manats, children – 235 manats.

In order to assign targeted state social assistance, the limit of the need criterion for 2024 is approved in the amount of 270 manats. After discussion, the documents were put to a vote and approved in the second reading.
