Smuggling of tobacco products from Iran prevented

The smuggling of tobacco products, tomato seeds and carpet from Iran to Azerbaijan has been prevented, Report informs citing the State Border Service (SBS).

According to information, units of the Coast Guard of the State Border Service prevented the smuggling of tobacco products from the Islamic Republic of Iran to Azerbaijan through the Caspian Sea.

In the area of Cape Bandovan, during an inspection of packages found on the coastline, 23,998 cigarettes of various types, 80 canned tomato seeds in iron cans and one carpet were discovered and seized.
