An attempt to illegally import gold bars into Baku was prevented

An attempt to illegally import gold bars into the country was stopped, oxu.az reports. Thus, during a personal search of three Azerbaijani citizens who arrived on an Abu Dhabi-Baku flight, carried out by employees of the Main Customs Directorate for Air Transport, 25 gold bars with a total weight of 985.51 g were discovered, which they hid from customs control.

An investigation into this fact is underway.
