State Border Service: contraband worth 2.3 million manats was seized at the border last month

As a result of measures to combat illicit drug trafficking, 155 kg 280 grams of narcotic drugs and 100 packages of tablets considered to be potent drugs were identified and seized from circulation, Report informs citing the press center of the State Border Service.

It was noted that as a result of the measures taken, contraband with a total value of 2 million 357 thousand 830 manats was seized, including narcotic drugs, air pistols, tear gas cylinders, shotgun cartridges, alcoholic beverages, various medicines, tobacco products and large amount of pyrotechnics.
