The State Security Service has exposed a group of producers of false Ukrainian documents

The State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan has exposed a transnational organized criminal group involved in the production of false Ukrainian documents, Report informs citing the press service of the SSS. Members of this group supplied citizens of Azerbaijan and other countries with fake Ukrainian documents, which allowed them to live in various countries of the world under the guise of Ukrainian citizens, as well as obtain asylum and visas.

During the investigation conducted by the State Security Service, it turned out that Nuriyev Ibadet Gahraman oglu, living in Lvov (Ukraine), Bagirov Farid Vagif oglu, living in Istanbul (Turkey), and other persons who had previously entered into a conspiracy, provided individuals with passports, identity cards, driver’s licenses rights and other documents of the Ukrainian Republic. The attackers took up to $30,000 for each document.

The attackers were detained and brought to investigation in the Republic of Azerbaijan, they were charged with the production and sale of false documents and other criminal acts. According to the State Security Service, during the investigation it was also possible to identify citizens who were already living in other countries using forged documents. Intensive operational and investigative activities continue.
