In Azerbaijan, criminal cases for corruption crimes have been initiated against 248 people. As APA reports, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev said this at a meeting of the board.

According to him, in 2023, 172 cases were sent to court against 248 persons on facts of corruption crimes and other crimes against the interests of the service.

He added that 45 of them were caught red-handed: “37 operational activities were carried out, 12 wanted persons were arrested.”
