63 int’l media organizations applied to cover snap presidential elections in Azerbaijan

The interest of the foreign media in the extraordinary presidential elections in Azerbaijan is huge, said Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the commission’s meeting held today, APA reports. 

He said that, 119 associates of 63 media organizations from Japan, Italy, Germany, Türkiye, Russia and other countries have applied to cover the election process in the Azerbaijan so far.

In addition, 790 international observers were accredited.
