Azerbaijan’s successes in ensuring cybersecurity
Thanks to the well-founded ideas of the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan about systemic measures taken in the field of cybersecurity in the country in 2023, Azerbaijan was able to rise by 36 positions in the rating table of the National Cybersecurity Index. Now the country ranks 50th, instead of the previous 86th, minval.az reports with reference to a message from the Association of Cybersecurity Organizations of Azerbaijan (AOCA).
Since September last year, the application of a new methodology based on updated assessment criteria began to be applied within the framework of the National Cyber Security Index. So far, 31 countries have been assessed using the new methodology.
In the ranking table, where each of 31 countries is assessed according to 49 indicators, Azerbaijan took 12th place with 66.67 points. This result is the highest in the history of assessments for our country.
