Ministry of Internal Affairs: over the past 24 hours, more than 30 kg of drugs were seized from illegal trafficking

Over the past 24 hours, law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan have seized narcotic drugs with a total weight of about 33 kg from illicit trafficking. This was reported by oxu.az with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In particular, during operational activities on the territory of the republic, more than 15 kg of heroin, about 16 kg of marijuana, more than 2 kg of methamphetamine, as well as 1,010 methadone tablets were seized.

Measures to combat drug trafficking continue, the department added.
