The court made a decision against the accused of stealing 210 thousand manats

The Baku Court of Appeal has completed its consideration of the appeal against the sentence of E. Aliyev, accused of theft, oxu.az reports. The decision was announced at a trial chaired by judge Hasan Akhmedov. The court did not allow the appeal.

According to the indictment, in 2020, E. Aliyev (born 2001) stole jewelry worth a total of 209,800 manats from the apartment and car of the victim I. Aliyeva, located in the village of Yeni Gunashli, Surakhani district of Baku. He was detained and prosecuted.

The Baku Serious Crimes Court sentenced E. Aliyev to 8 years and 6 months in prison.
