During 2023, the internal affairs bodies of Azerbaijan received 50 appeals in connection with early marriages. APA reports that Emin Nasirli, senior inspector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for particularly important assignments, said this in a conversation with journalists.

He noted that 20 of these complaints were initiated criminal cases.
