A criminal case has been opened regarding theft in the Mingachevir hospital

In the Mingachevir City Central Hospital, subordinate to the Association for the Management of Medical Territorial Units (TƏBİB), a fact of theft was detected. According to the Karabakh bureau of Report, the city prosecutor’s office launched an investigation against hospital officials.

As a result of the investigations, it turned out that the hospital’s management, having abused their official powers, embezzled more than 50 thousand manats of budget funds from January 2021 to October 2023.

Based on the fact, the Mingachevir City Prosecutor’s Office opened a criminal case under Articles 179.3.2 (embezzlement or embezzlement on a large scale) and 308.1 (abuse of official powers) of the Criminal Code of the Azerbaijan Republic.

The investigation into the criminal case continues.
