A criminal case has been initiated against the person who committed the murder

On March 6, at about 00:15, the district prosecutor’s office received information about the murder of Ilham Khagverdiev (born 1998) in the village of Lokbatan, Garadagh district. APA reports this with reference to the Garadagh district prosecutor’s office.

During the investigation, reasonable suspicions arose that Mazahir Bayramov (born 2006), during a quarrel based on personal relationships, committed the deliberate murder of his acquaintance Hagverdiev.

In fact, the Garadagh district prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case under Article 120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code, Mazahir Bayramov was detained as a suspect on the basis of a decision of the prosecutor’s office.

A preliminary investigation is currently underway.
