A suspect in a series of thefts worth 45 thousand manats was detained

A suspect in a series of thefts was detained in the Imishli district, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is noted that as a result of activities carried out by employees of the regional police department, Alim Mammadli, suspected of committing a number of crimes in the district, was detained.

During the investigation, it turned out that he illegally entered five houses, committed a theft worth 10,000 manats, and also stole gold jewelry worth about 35,000 manats.

A preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen against the detainee by a court decision.

An investigation into this fact is ongoing.
