Suspect of 200 thousand manat fraud detained

A fraud suspect was detained in Mingachevir, oxu.az reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is noted that as a result of activities carried out by employees of the city police department, Elshan Ismayilov (born 1985), who is suspected of committing fraud against a number of citizens, was detained.

The man deceived entrepreneurs by making false promises that he would open a joint business with them. In total, he abused the trust of 15 people and embezzled about 200,000 manats. By a court decision, a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen against E. Ismayilov. Other citizens who have suffered from his illegal actions can contact service 102 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or local law enforcement agencies.
