Azerbaijani police seized about 30 kg of drugs for day

As part of the activities carried out by police officers, on March 23, over 28.5 kg of drugs were seized. This Report was informed by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

According to the information, more than 24 kilograms of marijuana, about 3.8 kilograms of opium, about 700 grams of heroin and methamphetamine, as well as 200 methadone tablets were seized from illicit trafficking.

“Decisive measures to combat drugs will continue,” the department added.
