Ministry of Internal Affairs: persons who spread fakes about military operations and martyrs on social networks identified

Fake publications about supposed military operations, equipment and martyrs have spread on some social networks. As Report was informed by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, police officers identified the persons who spread these fakes.

Measures provided for by law are taken against them.

“We urge our citizens to refrain from spreading fake news that does not reflect reality and is aimed at confusing public opinion. These actions entail legal liability,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded.
