The State Committee proposes to create the courts on family cases

Currently, psychological services are not at the level we want. There is a great need to strengthen the activities of psychological services. The time has come to resolve the issue of a family psychologist in Azerbaijan at the institutional level. As APA reports, this was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children, Ainur Sofieva, at a joint public hearing of the Milli Majlis committees on family, women and children, healthcare and natural resources, energy and ecology on the topic “Legal aspects of a healthy model.” families – at the level of the green world.”

According to her, the most alarming topic when it comes to family issues is the rising divorce rate: “Over the past few years, the divorce rate has increased from 1.6 to 2, which worries us. The role of psychological factors in family relationships is very important. Therefore, we need to approach this issue more carefully. Along with the creation of an institute of family psychologist, the creation of family courts is of great importance.”
