Organizers of cyber attacks on Azerbaijani databases exposed

The organizers of cyber attacks on Azerbaijani databases have been exposed, oxu.az reports with reference to Qafqazinfo. The defense lawyer’s request to change the preventive measure of Javid Dunyamaliyev, who was arrested by the Sabail District Court of Baku in a criminal case conducted by the State Security Service, was not satisfied.

It became known that J. Dunyamaliyev is only one of the members of the group prosecuted under articles 271.3, 272.3 and 273-1.4.2 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

These persons, through cyber interference, illegally gained access to the databases of e-health.gov.az of the Ministry of Health, miq.edu.az of the Ministry of Science and Education, as well as databases of other structures, seized personal data belonging to citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan and transferred them to their own servers .

The activities of these individuals were exposed, and access to the personal information they collected was blocked.
