The trial of the former chairman of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Committee begins

The trial of the former chairman of the Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Hijran Rustamov begins, Report informs. The criminal case will be considered at a court hearing chaired by Judge Huseyn Mammadov at the Nakhchivan Serious Crimes Court.

Rustamov is accused of misappropriating public funds intended for construction and improvement on the territory of the autonomous republic.

Previously, various high-ranking officials of the State Customs Committee and the Minister of Finance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic were prosecuted and arrested in this case.
