Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan: last month 150 kg of drugs worth 6.5 million manat seized from circulation

In April, the Main Department for Combating Drugs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan seized 150 kg of drugs worth 6.5 million manats from circulation, APA reports citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs. During April, department employees carried out 38 operations in the capital and regions to combat drug trafficking . As a result, 34 people and 2 members of organized criminal groups were detained.

Criminal cases have been initiated based on the facts; by a court decision, a preventive measure in the form of arrest has been chosen against the detainees.
