The Ministry of Internal Affairs appealed to citizens in connection with another type of cyber fraud

A new type of cyber fraud is spreading in Azerbaijan, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is noted that there are already victims of this fraud, and they called on citizens to be careful.

It is reported that the citizen’s funds in the amount of 7,800 manats were transferred to one of the banks in South America. He first sent $10 and earned an additional $3. He then transferred $50 and was returned $61 in return. The next day, the man told his friends that he had earned a lot of money the previous night. They continued in the same vein. As a result, all his money was stolen.
