The State Border Service detained 36 violators of the state border of Azerbaijan

36 people who tried to violate the state border of Azerbaijan were detained, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the State Border Service.

According to the information, on May 14, 2024 at 00:15 at the service station of the separate border division “Gazakh” of the State Border Troops, as a result of the vigilance of border guards when trying to violate the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan from Georgia, 12 Azerbaijani citizens (including 8 children) were detained, and at 02:10 at the service station of the Shamkir border detachment – 24 Azerbaijani citizens (including 16 children).

Based on these facts, operational investigative measures are being carried out.
