Jewelry worth 54 thousand manats was stolen from the apartment

A theft was committed in one of the apartments in the Binagadi district of Baku, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The victim contacted the police, stating that in his absence, gold jewelry, watches and other valuables totaling 54 thousand manats were stolen from the apartment.

As a result of operational search activities carried out by employees of the Binagadi district police department, previously convicted Joshgun Hasanov was detained on suspicion of committing theft. During a search of his house, stolen jewelry was found and seized as material evidence, as well as special tools used to open door locks during burglaries. During the theft, J. Hasanov used an umbrella, a hat and masks that he brought with him to avoid surveillance cameras and hide traces of the crime.
