News website editor-in-chief arrested

The editor-in-chief of the website aktualinfo.az and the newspaper Bizim dövr (Our Epoch) Surkhay Aliyev was arrested again, oxu.az reports. He was arrested by the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is noted that a case was opened against him under Article 182.2.2 (extortion with threats) of the Criminal Code and a preventive measure in the form of arrest was chosen.

S. Aliyev was arrested several years ago during a special operation by the State Security Service on the same charge.
