Person detained for stealing lottery tickets worth a large sum

A daring theft of lottery tickets worth a large sum took place in the Nizami district of Baku, oxu.az reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.

The incident occurred in one of the cars parked in the Nizami district. The attacker stole a bag from the car containing lottery tickets worth 4,430 manats, as well as documents, bank cards and keys. The victim filed a complaint with the 24th police department of the Nizami district. During operational search activities, law enforcement officers detained a suspect in the theft. It turned out to be Farid Aliyev (born 1982)

The theft is currently under investigation. The police urge other possible victims of the unlawful actions of the detainee to contact law enforcement agencies.
