A criminal case has been initiated in connection with illegal actions of officials

Based on the information received about violations at the Center for the Development of Children and Youth of the Gazakh District, the prosecutor’s office conducted an investigation, oxu.az reports with reference to the district prosecutor’s office.

It is noted that during the investigations, reasonable suspicions were revealed that officials of the Center unreasonably paid wages to persons who did not actually carry out labor activities, embezzled and wasted significant budget funds in other ways.

Based on this fact, the prosecutor’s office of the Gazakh region opened a criminal case under Article 179.2.4 (misappropriation or embezzlement causing significant damage) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
