A man suspected of embezzling 60 thousand manats from citizens detained

A man suspected of defrauding citizens of about 60,000 manats was detained in Hajigabul, Report informs citing the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to information, Azer Aliyev placed advertisements on websites for the sale of cars of various brands at a price below their value, negotiated with potential buyers who transferred an advance to his card, and then stopped answering calls.

In total, 15 people became victims of A. Aliyev’s fraud.

Citizens affected by the actions of this person are asked to contact law enforcement agencies.
