The prosecutor demanded punishment for the accused in the case of an armed attack on a hypermarket
The Baku Serious Crimes Court held a trial on the criminal case of those accused in connection with an armed incident in a Baku hypermarket. APA reports that documents on the case were made public at a meeting chaired by Judge Azad Mejidov. The judicial investigation was declared completed. Then the state prosecutor spoke.
The prosecutor demanded that the accused Dayanat Gudratov be sentenced to life imprisonment, Azer Mammadov, Ibrahim Ibrahimov and Sabuhi Gurbanov to 20 years in prison each, Babek Iskendarov to 6 years and Rovshan Ismayilov to 7 years.
The process will continue on July 3, 2024.
Thus, on March 4, 2023, in Baku, an armed attack occurred on Unibank employees in the Bravo hypermarket in the Khatai district of the capital. A group of criminals, having previously agreed, attacked collector Samir Shaidaev at the moment when he was loading cash into a Unibank ATM installed in a hypermarket. Rufat Gashimov, who provided security for his partner, was killed, Samir Shaidaev received severe gunshot wounds. The criminals stole a large amount of money and fled the scene.
