Another court hearing was held in the case of embezzlement in the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan

The trial continued in the criminal case of the former head of the financial and budget department of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Nizami Mammadov, the former head of the financial service of the Air Force, Colonel Jalal Kazimov, the head of the Financial Directorate of the Ground Forces, Bayram Bayramov, and the former head of the financial service of the Navy, Vusal Alizade, APA reports. At the trial, held in the Baku Military Court under the chairmanship of Judge Fikret Aliyev, the testimony of 4 unexamined witnesses was read out.

The next meeting is scheduled for July 5, 2024.

The accused were detained during a special operation by the State Security Service.
