Details of the raid on a house in the Shabran region

On June 24, 2024, the police received information about the death of Gulnara Huseynova, which occurred as a result of injuries caused by a cutting tool, and the injury of her husband Arif Huseynov in one of the private houses of the Shabran region, oxu.az reports with reference to the Guba regional press service group Ministry of Internal Affairs

Police officers detained the previously convicted Elchin Farzaliyev (born 1983) on suspicion of committing this criminal act, and measures are being taken to detain his accomplice.

It is noted that the attackers wounded the owners of the house, Gulnara and Arif Huseynov, with an ax in the head area. As a result, the woman died at the scene of the incident, and her husband’s condition is assessed as serious.

A criminal case has been opened in the Shabran district prosecutor’s office based on this fact.

According to the information, G. Huseynova was a teacher at school No. 3 in the city of Shabran.
